The successful execution of a strategy depends not only on defining a clear direction, but also on ensuring that leaders and teams are aligned around the priorities that will turn that direction into action.
As part of its accompaniment of LOXEA Cameroun, AMSCO supported the company through a strategic development initiative designed to strengthen leadership alignment, translate strategic priorities into concrete actions and mobilize teams around a shared ambition for the future.
Aligning Leadership Around Strategic Priorities
The initiative began with a coaching session for LOXEA’s managers, providing an opportunity for leaders to step back from their day-to-day responsibilities and focus on the company’s strategic direction.
Through constructive exchanges and practical reflections, the session focused on strengthening alignment around key priorities, refining action plans and developing a performance- and results-oriented mindset. The discussions encouraged managers to consider how strategic priorities could be translated into concrete and sustainable actions within their respective areas of responsibility.
This first stage reinforced the importance of leadership alignment in creating the conditions for effective execution. With a clearer understanding of the company’s priorities and the actions required to advance them, managers were better positioned to provide direction and support coordinated implementation across their teams.
Mobilizing Teams Around a Shared Ambition
Building on this managerial alignment, LOXEA Cameroun brought its collaborators together for a strategic team-building initiative centered on the company’s vision and future ambitions.
The session created a space for employees to engage with the organization’s strategic priorities, better understand their role in supporting them and connect their individual contributions to the company’s broader direction. Beyond the team-building activities themselves, the initiative encouraged dialogue, collaboration and a stronger sense of collective ownership.
By involving employees in the strategic journey, LOXEA strengthened the connection between organizational priorities and the people responsible for putting them into practice. The initiative highlighted that while leadership provides direction, sustainable results depend on the collective engagement and contribution of the wider organization.
Together, the two stages created a coherent journey—from aligning leaders around the strategy to mobilizing the wider team around a shared direction. Through this approach, AMSCO supported LOXEA Cameroun in connecting strategy with leadership, action and people, strengthening the alignment needed to translate strategic ambition into collective execution and future growth.
