On 6 June 2026, the Port Autonome de Kribi (PAK), through its Operations Directorate (DEX), successfully organized the 2026 DEX Team Building, under the theme “Together for a More High-Performing DEX”.
The session provided an opportunity to strengthen both the managerial and interpersonal skills of employees while reinforcing team cohesion. Through engaging discussions, practical workshops and experience sharing, participants explored key areas that contribute to stronger collaboration, collective commitment and sustainable operational performance.
The DEX 2026 Team Building focused on five key areas closely connected to team effectiveness and performance: relational effectiveness and team cohesion, interpersonal communication, conflict prevention and resolution, emotional intelligence, and building a high-performing team.
These areas provided participants with an opportunity to reflect on the relational and managerial dimensions that contribute to effective teamwork.
Through practical activities, discussions and experience sharing, employees strengthened their understanding of the importance of communication and interpersonal relationships in fostering effective collaboration.
Strengthening Communication and Conflict Management
Particular attention was given to interpersonal communication and conflict prevention and resolution. These themes encouraged participants to reflect on ways of fostering more effective professional relationships and addressing situations that may affect team dynamics.
The discussions and experience-sharing sessions provided an opportunity for employees to exchange perspectives and reinforce a collaborative approach to challenges that may arise within teams.
Emotional intelligence was another key focus of the session. Integrated into the broader discussions around relationships, communication and team cohesion, this theme contributed to reflections on the interpersonal skills required for effective teamwork.
Beyond the individual themes explored, the DEX 2026 Team Building centered on a shared objective: building a more high-performing team.
Through practical workshops, discussions and experience sharing, the teams of the Operations Directorate strengthened their spirit of collaboration, collective commitment and shared willingness to contribute to sustainable operational performance.
Through this initiative, the Port Autonome de Kribi reaffirmed its commitment to human capital development, leadership and operational excellence.
For AMSCO, supporting this initiative reflects its role in accompanying organizations in strengthening their teams and developing the capabilities that contribute to performance.
Together, building stronger teams, stronger commitment and stronger performance.
